Client Services Representative

The Client Services Representative acts as the primary communication point between the clients and the laboratory, via phone, email, fax and in person. Handle client requests for information; answer questions about analytical reports, bottles and analysis. Provide information and help solve problems with samples. Communicate with lab managers to obtain information needed by clients, and interpret this information for clients with varying amounts of knowledge. Help coordinate sampling events with clients and dispatcher. Receive requests for bottles and prepare the orders for bottles according to the clients' needs. Review paperwork generated for samples received for accuracy and completion; review and sign off on final analytical reports. The ideal candidate would have a degree in chemistry, biology or related science; be very detailed, be familiar with computers and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; and have good verbal and written communication skills.

Chemist I / II

The Chemist I / II is responsible for performing sample determinations utilizing instrument such as GC, HPLC, IC and/or similar instrumentation in accordance with standard operating procedures, including analysis, data evaluation, reporting, and ensuring that all quality control protocols are met. In addition, this person will be responsible for scheduling daily work, maintaining regular laboratory turn-around time, and prioritizing samples. This person will also be expected to become familiar with their instrumentation and perform maintenance on a regular basis and eventually be able to troubleshoot independently. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science, be very familiar with computers and Microsoft Office applications, be a proficient time manager and multi-tasker, and preferably have at least two years of applicable bench experience.

Laboratory Assistant

The Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for all of the glassware washing in the Inorganics department. An appropriate candidate will have a high school diploma. No experience necessary. This position is for the hours of 8am-5pm Monday through Friday.
