Unregulated Compound Monitoring Rule (UCMR3) Commences in January 2013 The next round of sampling for the EPA’s Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule will begin in January 2013. This third round of the program (UCMR3) will apply to all Public Water Systems serving 10,000 or more customers and to a select number – 800 in total - of smaller systems serving less than 10,000 customers.
